Masini Theatre (1992)

Our Cierre sofas play their own role on the scene like actors in a theatre: the setting where they have been placed, the theatre, marks the fine line between fiction and reality. Each model is associated to famous works, staged in the charming Masini Theatre in Faenza. The sofas become an integral part of the stories as if they were dumb actors. The “Pascal” model is waiting for Godot along with Estragon and Vladimir. The “Normanno” is in Six Caracters is Search of an Author. The “Portese” penetrates into Don Quixote’s visions. In this way, sofas and famous plays are combined together, theatre arts meet design arts.
